Tiggerific Tuesday Trivia: it's a small world

"It's a world of laughter, a world of tears, it's a world of hopes and a world of fears.  There's so much that we share, that it's time we're aware, it's a small world after all!"

Now that the song is firmly implanted in your brain (you're welcome!), here is a fascinating fact about the attraction.  Before the Sherman Brothers came up with this melody, they initially proposed that the music accompanying the ride be a blending of several National Anthems.  I personally can't imagine this ride without it's current theme song!  Today's trivia is courtesy of Susan Veness's great book, "The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World Trivia".  Oh, and courtesy of my hubby, who bought me the book as a "just because" gift! :)

As always, thanks to +Magical Mouse Schoolhouse+Heidi's Head+My Dreams of Disney, and +Disney Babies Blog for co-hosting the fun!

  3. My husband always complains about the ride because the song sticks with you forever, but I LOVE IT! I'm glad that the Shermans wrote the song. The other option would have been rather boring, don't you think?
